I’ve found work writing my own column on another blog, and I owe it all to Peggy Watt.
SEATTLE FASHION II
I covered designer Melanie Trygg’s first large fashion show in Fremont. See what WWU alum Lauren Sauser and I came up with.
SEATTLE FASHION
I began an internship with Fashion Network Seattle a week ago. I’m pretty hyped. Here’s my first article. I’ve also spent most of the last two weeks climbing, which has been a lot of fun.
Enjoy.

TIED UP
Attention college aged gentlemen:
Do yourself a favor and buy a few ties.
Some solid choices for this year’s Christmas list.
AAI PROMO
This is an short video I shot and edited for my internship at the American Alpine Institute. It features a simulated crevasse fall by my internship supervisor, Jason Martin, who is portraying a racer in the Mt. Baker Marathon (an event that ran until 1911, where participants raced from Bellingham to the summit of Mt. Baker and back for a cash prize.)
The shots in this promo, as well as the other footage I shot over the two-day trip, will be featured in the documentary “Mountain Runners” by Todd Warger, which is set for release next year. The film explains the history of the Mt. Baker Marathon, as well as some of the instances that lead to its discontinuation.
There’s funny audio after the fall… He unintentionally swung into the ice wall of the crevasse. Yikes.

The Economist: Where Has All The Greatness Gone?
If you are an American, this is some interesting reading. If you aren’t an American… Read it anyway.
